Upcoming Market Dates:
Day light savings has again kicked us into gear. The Aquilegia are coming along nicely now, and should be in fine form for the Botanic Garden Plant Sale in Dunedin next month. That will be our biggest weekend of the year as we have the Hokonui Community Market the day before. I am stating to see some germination in this years 'new and interesting' trial...I have two varieties of Lizianthus just starting to germinate. These are notorious for being tricky to grow, so it is my challenge to myself for the season, to get them looking good. Fingers crossed!

Annuals and Perennials
We have a varying selection of flowering plants to bring interest and colour to your garden. Biodiversity is very important to keep a garden environment healthy and balanced, and even productive vegetable gardens will benefit from the addition of some flowering plants to attract pollinating insects.
Whether you prefer a short term blast of colour from annual bedding plants that can be changed out each season, or something long-lasting that will continue to provide shape and colour from year to year, we have options to suit most gardens.
If you have a specific plant in mind and have trouble sourcing it elsewhere - come and talk with us as we do sometimes grow to order, depending on availability of propagating material. This is a slow process, but it can be great fun and an excellent learning curve as we get familiar with new plants and their particular requirements.
Open For Business - two ways!
I am very pleased to announce that after much deliberation we now have our plants listed for sale, here on the website, (see the PLANTS IN STOCK tab at the top of the page) and also on our Facebook page! Click the link below to head through to the Facebook Shop.
Don't forget to like our page while you are there, and if you are really keen, you can subscribe to our shop and receive notifications when we add new products. It is all very simple for now, but a great way for us to reach those of you who can't get to a market. Payment details will be emailed once we confirm your order, and shipping determined on a case by case basis. We regret that we cannot send plants out of New Zealand.
